Kingston couples session - Suburban Summer

I live in Kingscourt, an area in north Kingston. I love the quiet tree-lined streets and the 1940's vibe created by the awesome little war-time houses. This 'hood and my cool neighbours, Caitlin and Dave, were the driving force behind this vintage-inspired shoot.
To shoot with film is to be restrained. There isn't much room for error. You're limited by the light meter, and by the number of frames. I love film for the way in which it slows me down and makes me think about and appreciate what I'm doing a little bit more.
